I can't take complete credit for this LO, I used a template by Jen from her new set of templates! Here is the preview! Aren't they great?? Click the preview to go to her store to buy them! (Once again, scheduled, so not a link directly to product)

I just LOVE them! I have a second LO using these as well. For this one I used an older kit from Jen that is wonderful! I have wanted this kit for awhile, but didn't know what to scrap with it! Then I found these old pictures and decided they were perfect! They aren't the best quality, but the story is funny....

Here is the preview of the kit I used called "A Star Danced." This preview will take you directly to it in the store! Have fun and go spend some money!

Tranquility

Shel has a new kit out today and it is really beautiful! I love the colors in it. I used one of Stephanie'e templates that you can find in the store here. I chose to tell the story of my hair issues that I had two weeks ago. It took awhile, but I finally got my hair the way I wanted it. I tried to take pictures so that you could see the problems with it, but it is hard to tell. So read the journaling if you want to know the true story of the great hair debacle of 2009! =)
As always, click the preview to go to Shel's blog to start downloading. Oh, and if you scroll down a post or two on her blog, you can pick up a free QP! What a deal!
Come back on Tuesday because I will have a QP for you! I am sure other members of her CT will have some goodies as well. Talk to you later! Right now, I am probably on my way to the airport! Yay Maui! I love being able to schedule posts!

Three Kits!!!

I have three GREAT kits to show you today!! Jen and Char are keeping me busy!! Sorry I am so late with this, I got my hair done this morning and then had to run some errands. I totally forgot to do this last night because my back was killing me and it hurts to use the computer when I have to lie down. Anyway, here they are in all their glory!

First, a collab between the two called Lil' Fella. A cute dog kit. I opted not to make a LO with this one, but look at the great papers, elements, and don't forget Jen's masks! Click on any picture to go to the store to buy it!

Second, a kit that is coming out just a little too early for me...Hukilau Honey. I am going to be in Maui two weeks from now, so hopefully I will have some good pictures to use with this kit. It is by Jen and here is my LO and the previews. I am not too happy with this LO, but at least it shows some of what is in the kit. Once again, click on any of the previews to go to her store. Oh, and if you go to her blog, you might get a little gift that goes with...

Last, but certainly not least is Char's new kit called Peaches and Cream. I LOVED the colors in this kit, so I ended up making 2 LOs. I will definitely use this kit again. Here are my LOs and the preview. Once again, click on the preview to go buy this beautiful kit! Oh, and if you go her to her blog, you will find a freebie!

Ok, I think that is everything! Whew! I have QPs I made with my LOs for Peaches and Cream. They will be up on the Gingerscraps blog sometime...I will let you know when! oh, and did anyone notice the facelift I gave my blog? It was badly needed. I really learned a lot about html...it was fun! =)

Contemplations by Juli Part 2

First of all, thanks for all the comments about my last contemplations post. I appreciate the support!

I have been watching a show called How I Met Your Mother. I LOVE it so far! Anyway, something that was said on there made me think. A character asked where do you see yourself in 5 years? Well that made me think. And as I was going through all that, I got to thinking about all that has happened in the last five years for me. I mean, I just turned 25. What all has happened? I realized that so many good things have happened. I am going to list them here (in no particular order!!!), so I can refer to them again when I feel like I did on my last contemplations post...

1. Married my best friend in the Seattle Temple
2. Watched my girl best friend marry her best friend one week before me
3. Graduated from college with a Bachelors Degree
4. Lived in Las Vegas
5. Met several roommates that are now considered great friends
6. Lived in the Jordan area of Utah
7. Went through the temple for the first time
8. Made it through my first year as a teacher
9. Made it through my second year as a teacher! =)
10. Learned to play Pinochle (LOVE that game!)
11. Met all of Brett's friends who I now consider my family
12. Traveled to Colorado Springs and walked through Garden of the Gods
13. Inherited my husbands family =)
14. Was in the temple as Kyle and Candy were sealed
15. Was in the temple as Nick and Lydia were sealed
16. Met great friends through work
17. Started digi scrapping
18. HAWAII (need I say more?)
19. Reconnected with several old friends (gotta love facebook!)
20. Travelled to Ocean Shores for my honeymoon
21. Travelled to Newport for our first anniversary
22. Stayed in my first Bed and Breakfast
23. White water rafting
24. Been very successful at my calling as head of Activities Committee
25. and so much more, but this is a good start! This makes me feel better already! =)

25th Birthday!

So yesterday was my 25th birthday. It was a great one! I had such a good time. Brett woke me up before he left for work and gave me my present which was a bag full of different kinds of treats. He bought me Sour Punch Straws, Airheads, Fun Dips, (I asked for these three since I haven't had them since I was much younger...) Peanut butter filled Lindor balls, (the absolute BEST chocolate EVER!!) and some Andes Mints. Over all, a great little package!

My mom, sister, and I went to see My Sister's Keeper. Great movie, but a little depressing for a birthday...oh well. I really liked it. Mom treated us to Olive Garden for lunch and that was excellent as always. Then we went shopping for a bit, we had some things we needed to buy for Hawaii and then I took a nap! Wonderful since Brett woke me up at 7 and I didn't go to bed until late. I was just a little tired! =)

When Brett got home, unfortunately it was a little late, so he didn't have much time to make me dinner. So we went out to this great Chinese restaurant called The Green Village in Kent. Well we tried to go there. They were closed. I think they close early. Anyway, we went to Subway instead because it is pretty much next to The Green Village.

My mom had my cake all ready. 2 layers of white cake with chocolate frosting and sprinkles. Very nice. It was very tasty!! And I blew all my candles out in one breath! I was very pleased because I liked my wish! =)
After cake, we played a game of Push Rummy. My sister and husband hate this game, but they played it for me. It was fun and I won! That was exciting.

So that was my birthday! I love my family!

A Scrap A Day

Char has a new kit out called A Scrap A Day. This is such a great kit, but I lost all my inspiration as soon as I got it. It was too bad because I could do more with this kit. I will have to get back to this kit later. Anyway, here is the LO I came up with. Isn't the alpha adorable? I love the little polka dots!! And I loved how easy it was to clip papers to them to make them different colors. Anyway, click here to go to her blog to see some more LOs and click on the preview to go to the Gingerscraps store!
