Janice and Steph teamed up this week to bring you a great collab! Here are the two previews and the LOs I created with them. Click on the previews to go to their blogs to download. I hope you like!
hehe, I really like this LO. Brett tried to be cool and jump over the couch and really hurt his toe. It was bright purple for about a week. LOL! I used a template from Steph on this one. Click any of the following links to find the template pack in her stores.
This next LO is pretty special to me. It is all about my cousin Travis who has been in the hospital since an accident that happened a month ago. The journaling reads
"On July 28, 2009 Travis was riding on the tailgate of a truck with his sister Ashley. The driver turned a corner too quickly and Travis fell to the ground hard. He was knocked unconscious and laid on the hot pavement for 30 minutes before the paramedics were able to air flight him to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. This resulted in many 3rd degree burns on his chest, arms, and legs. He also suffered from a left heel fracture.
At the hospital, they had to drain the excess blood in the brain to prevent brian damage. They removed a part of his skull and put a helmet on him. His condition
improved steadily over the next few weeks, although he remained comatose. A week ago he was moved to a rehabilitation facility on Mercer Island. He lasted a couple days, but he became sick and threw up repeatedly after they fed him too much too quickly. He was rushed back to Harborview Medical Center where they were able to stabilize his condition and take care of the pneumonia he contracted.
He was stable enough to perform a cranioplasty and replace the piece of skull they removed earlier. He is recovering nicely from the latest surgery. When my mom and I visited him today, he had his eyes open and he was looking at us like he recognized us. He also made some noise and moved his jaw and made it look like he was trying to speak. We are praying and fasting that he will soon return to the Travis we know. We are filled with..." and then the Hope WA by Bethany. You can find her blog
here.
I used Char's Making Waves product that is in the store
here. I also used a cut mask from
Scrapping with Liz. Anyway, I was trying to find a good picture to use for Janice's part of the kit since I had already done the obvious one for Steph's portion. We went to visit my cousin in the hospital and this idea was born. I hope you like!

have a good night!
